Complaints Procedure
If any parent, member of staff, student, or volunteer should have any cause for concern/complaint they should initially take up the concern/complaint up with a member of staff.
If the issue remains unresolved or is of a serious nature then the Headteacher (Charlotte Clerehugh) should be approached immediately.
The Headteacher will then investigate the complaint and report to the person making the complaint within 28 days.
The complainants will be kept informed of any actions taken.
If the matter cannot be resolved to their satisfaction then they have the right to raise a formal complaint with Governing Body at:-

Formal complaints should be submitted in writing and include as much information as possible.
The Headteacher/Governing Body will provide OfSTED, on request with a written record of all complaints within a specified period and the action that was taken.
All complaints will be recorded and kept on file for at least 3 years.
Once the complaint has been investigated the complainant will be informed of the outcome in verbally or in writing.
Should the complainant be unsatisfied with the outcome the next step is for the complainant to contact the Local Authority of which details can be gained from school.
Should the complainant be unsatisfied still with the outcome the next step is for the complainant to contact the Department for Children’s, Schools and Families of which details can be gained from school.
